THE PROCESS
I approach every recording with precision and passion, paying close attention to every stage of the process..
01.
Pre-production:
I gather information and prepare myself.
I read through the script several times, paying close attention to any notes or instructions provided by the client, and try to familiarise myself with the product, region, brand, character, etc.
I practise reading the script until I achieve the desired interpretation.
02.
Production:
I record the text.
I go into my soundproof studio, warm up my voice using appropriate breathing and warm-up techniques, and start recording.
I usually make more than one recording of the same message so that I can choose the best version.
03.
Check:
I listen to the recording.
Wearing my professional headphones, I pay close attention to the delivery, diction, correct pronounciation of names and terms, and to the absence of background noise.
04.
Post-production:
I fine-tune the audio.
I carry out moderate and meticulous editing on the selected recording, for example by shortening overly long pauses and removing breaths or any background noise, so as to produce a file that is ready for use.
